"The Gain in Pain"

Now that we have a voice to our pain, it is time to see the benefits. The gain in pain! There is great gain that comes from pain. Pain is an indicator that something is wrong or that we need to look a little deeper into something that we thought was small. Fear prevents us from digging deeper, but we need to. In order to get to the root of a thing we need to dig deeper. Do not allow fear to prevent you from getting to the root of your pain. Once you get there, a freedom will meet you, if you are honest and open liberty will be yours. Positive things can come from pain. After a point, we don't need to focus on how we got hurt, who hurt us, or how long it has been, but rather on how we can move through it, and become better in spite of it. There are some positives that come from painful experiences. One is that we will be able to help others. Many times people are discouraged because they don't think that anyone understands what they have been through. They think that no one's pain is as crippling as what they have experienced. Another positive is that pain lets us know that something deeper exists. Knowing something is there gives us the opportunity to present our situation to God, and allow Him to heal us, and make us whole. There is nothing too hard for the Lord! God is ready and willing to meet us where we are. He is ready to give us the strength that we need to forgive ourselves and others. He is ready to make ALL things new on our behalf. We must be big enough to say where we are in order to reap the benefits of our pain. It seems strange to say that something that held a dark, place in our lives can be a blessing, but it indeed can. Our process whether it was good or bad, was meant to cause growth. The growth is not just for us, but for those who were watching our process. Once we step out of our comfort zones and begin to put the needs of others before our own, we will see a great harvest in our personal lives. Once we say enough is enough, and share our stories so that others may live, we will see a great harvest. Once we realize that we are truly our brother's keeper, we will understand that our pain has paved the way for gain, not just for us, but for all who suffered silently. For all those who cried inwardly until the day their pain got a voice!!! Share your pain, make its voice heard, so that those who are captive can be set free!!!
